July 9: Senior Center Cinema presents Disneys Fantasia! A classic! Bring
the kids and share fun memories! At 2:15 pm in the Dining Room.

Lockheed Federal Credit Union Volunteer Day is on July 18 at the Senior
Center. They will decorate the lunchroom, pack and distrubute lunch, as well as
host an oppurtunity drawing and ice cream sundae bar. There will be
entertainment provided by Patrick Bell of Opera Kadabra, a performance
of opera and magic.

Disco Ball community dance on July 25! Only $5 at the door from 7:30-
10:30 pm .

Volunteer for the "Read With Me" program. Together with the Santa Clarita
Valley Education Foundation.The SCV Senior Center will provide volunteers
to work with students one-on-one or in small groups in one or two elementary
schools in the Newhall District to improve reading skills for students who are
reading below grade level. Contact Robin Clough at the SCV Senior Center at
259-9444 extension 110.
