The agency provides a multitude of opportunities for volunteers, young and old, to provide vital community services. Senior Center volunteers are central to pursuing our mission of providing independence, dignity, and quality of life services to the community at large. Opportunities range from professional endeavors of counseling to daily operations serving 7,000 residents annually. The SCV Senior Center actively recruits a culturally diverse volunteer workforce to better serve our communities.
One of our major volunteer needs is drivers for home delivered meal routes. These volunteer drivers will drive our vehicles with temperature-controlled units to feed home-bound elderly and disabled.
